'Virgil, Ovid, Lucan' in Liber ad honorem Augusti by Pietro da Eboli.
Contains three figures drawn on the left side and representatives according to their legends, the poets above each bearing an inscription with two hexameters. On the scroll held by Virgil we read the opening line of the Aeneid and verse 490 of the libro Georgiche. In that of Lucan's is written the first verse of the Pharsalia and a hexameter of which we do not know the author. In that of Ovid we read the first of the Metamorphoses and the 663 of the Ars amandi.
Contiene tre figure disegnate sul lato sinistro e rappresentanti, secondo le rispettive legende, i poeti suddetti recanti ciascuno una scritta con due esametri. Nel rotulo tenuto da Virgilio si legge il verso iniziale dell'Eneide ed il verso 490 del II libro Georgiche. In quello di Lucano sta scritto il primo verso della Farsaglia e l'esametro di cui non si conosce l'autore. In quello di Ovidio si legge il primo delle Metamorfosi e il 663 dell'Ars amandi.
