San Jorge (c. 1470), Museo Diocesano de Mallorca.
Saint George by Pedro Nisart (in Catalan Pere Niçard or Pero Nissart) was a painter in Hispano-Flemish style active in Mallorca. It is the central panel of the altarpiece preserved in the Diocesan Museum of Palma de Mallorca. Commissioned in 1468. It measures 2.84 meters high by 1.87 meters wide. It is painted in oils. The rest of the altarpiece is the work of, apparently, another painter, Rafel Moger. This work is St. George, as a knight in armour on a horse, killing the dragon. Although the landscape is a Flemish city with walls and a castle, it seems to be in the bay of Palma de Mallorca.
