scrittura beneventana ; Iniziali semplici di colore altro, rosse con tocchi di blu e giallo. Sono presenti iniziali, ornate. L'illustrazione è opera di un miniatore attivo in uno scrittorio di Benevento intorno al 1005.
Sul dorso, in basso, è presente il cartellino cartaceo ottocentesco con decorazione a stampa e al centro a penna la segnatura "4". La c. 250r reca la nota: 'Codex Legum Regum Langobardorum rarissimus, de quo nulla fit mentio in alphabeticis Indicibus...
