The 100days for ANGV for Verson 2 & version 1 ANGV. This contains files for 5 campaigns: Ligny, Quatre Bras, Wavre, Waterloo & a Fantasy battle in Belgium. Installation of the 100 days mod for Austerlitz: Napoleon's Greatest Victory. Note: If your operating system is set to the default of not displaying common file extensions, you will not see .exe, .zip or .bmp file extensions. The unusual .bag & .bm2 file extensions should be seen. zip files required: ModdedANGVExe.zip 100daysANGVgraphics.zip LignyWavreSoldiers.zip WaterlooQuatreBrasSoldiers.zip French&BritishSounds.zip 100daysANGVmainV2.zip & the V2 patch Make a copy of your Austerlitz folder or make a new installation of ANGV. Rename the folder 100daysANGV. Unzip ModdedANGVExe.zip into the 100daysANGV folder, overwriting files. This contains Austerlitz.exe & JPIEXAe.dll (which is needed for the unipatch to work). If using XP or later, right click on Austerlitz.exe and set the properties to Win98 compatibility. Apply the Artillery patch (AustArtyPatch.exe) if you wish to set the effect of artillery. Rename Austerlitz.exe to AusterlitzV1.exe Unzip the other .zip files in the above order into the 100daysANGV folder, with "use folder names" and "overwrite existing files" checked and say "yes" to overwriting any files if asked. No files need to be packed into .bag files. Instead, all the .bag files in the graphics folder except WaterArmy.bag & WaterlooQ.bag must be renamed or deleted so that graphics are used directly from the graphics folder. So DELETE or rename WaterMap.bag & WaterMisc.bag. If you see Russian & Austrian flags it is because the standard files are being used from a .bag file. Install the V2 patch & Rename Austerlitz.exe to AusterlitzV2.exe. Navigate to the Sounds folder. Run "CopyBritishToRussian.bat" in the Sounds folder by double-clicking on it. This copies British voices over the Russian voices. Edit austerlitz.ini to set the "Campaign=" number: ;; 2=Waterloo for ANGV v2 ;; 66=Ligny for ANGV v2 ;; 67=Quatre Bras for ANGV v2 ;; 68=Wavre for ANGV v2 ;; 69=Fantasy for ANGV v2 ;; 23=Ligny for ANGV v1 ;; 26=Quatre Bras for ANGV v1 ;; 28=Wavre for ANGV v1 ;; 48=Fantasy for ANGV v1 ;; 62=Waterloo for ANGV v1 For version 1 ANGV ------------------ Waterloo has a walled enclosure at Hougoumont installed that is specific to that battle. This is enabled by a file in the MapData folder which is called: SpecArea.mod Copy the SpecArea.mod file from the "Waterloo" subfolder to the MapData folder when you wish to play Waterloo, then before moving on to one of the other campaigns copy the SpecArea.mod from the "Other" subfolder to the MapData folder (overwriting the file in both cases). Run austerlitzV1.exe from the 100daysANGV folder or make a shortcut on the desktop. You can make a shortcut on the desktop by right clicking on austerlitzV1.exe, "send to" then "Desktop (create shortcut)". I recommend version 1 for the 2nd day at Wavre which has fog in the low lying areas which delays the action. Version 2 does not have working fog, sunset & sunrise are always for Winter in Moravia, jump maps must be squeezed to fit the standard size and the number of loading screens can't be set to the number available for a mod. It does have up to 63 infantry uniforms compared to 8 for version 1 ANGV. Run A-WaterlooQ-V2.exe for Waterloo, Quatre Bras & Fantasy for ANGV v2 (campaign no 2, 67 & 69). Run AusterlitzV2.exe for Ligny & Wavre for ANGV v2 (campaign no 66 & 68). When you have had enough 100days, delete the 100daysANGV folder & shortcut, no need to restore. Graeme http://warfare.cf/Greatest_Battles/Greatest_Battles.htm Waterloo is a conversion of the WNLB game with a few different buildings used and a new arrangement of Hougoumont. There are 6 new scenarios including "Glory enough for all" & Maida. Ligny has just a few map & scenario changes. There are 2 scenarios including Ligny en grande. Quatre Bras has a couple of changes to buildings & comes with 1 scenario. Wavre has a new map based on the original elevations, new buildings & 8 scenarios. Each v1 campaign has a fog map & a random battle. The Waterloo OoBs & scenarios are based on Davros' alternate set which has both the Anglo-allied & Prussian Armies as Army 5. The Prussian units are refered to as Brigades & regiments rather than Divisions & Brigades. Among other OoB changes are independent cavalry units have been given a commander or added to an existing brigade. Some Prussian artillery are under brigade command. The French Guard artillery commander has been added. The British Quatre Bras OoB has some higher (pre Quatre Bras losses) strengths & the Hougoumont garrison units have been distributed to their parent formations. The leader & troop qualities of Thielemann's corps have been changed to those in the WNLB 3rd patch versions. Some new versions of soldiers have been included - the artists are noted in the files. 15 July 2010 Fantasy battle & Scenario 70 'Green Valley' by Tirailleur du Po added. Vichery's division in Wavre 2nd day scenario with corrected earlier start time. 3 Dec 2010 Missing blank SprOver04.bm2 added. 100days for ANGV v2 (15 June 2011) The Austerlitz.exe from the version 2 patch has been edited to make A-WaterlooQ-V2.exe; The name WaterArmy.bag has been changed to WaterlooQ.bag. The name SpecArea.mod has been changed to HougArea.mod. The name FortOff.csv has been changed to FortWtl.csv. This does not affect the names that end with a campaign number e.g. SpecArea.mod66. The name battleloc has been changed to battleWat. battleloc.bm2 now has a map of Ligny. The dafault map size has been changed from that for Austerlitz to that for Waterloo. AusterlitzFog.raw is for use in version 2 ANGV. It has all 0 values so there will be no fog. There are no fog maps for other battles for V2 ANGV Soldier graphics from WaterlooQ.bag will be used for Waterloo & Quatre Bras for v2 (by running A-WaterlooQ-V2.exe). There are 62 infantry uniforms in each army bag. Slot 140 can be used for an extra graphic if you wish to mod an OoB. TIME: Because sunrise is latter & sunset is earlier in the v2 .exe, the scenario times have been moved earlier by 4 hours except where marked and in the tutorials. The version 2 Jump Maps have been squeezed to fit the standard V2 size. Extra enclosures have been added based on the Ferraris maps of Belgium - http://www.kbr.be/collections/cart_plan/ferraris/ferraris_nl.html. These may be more accurate than how the Waterloo battlefield looked after it was scrapped to build the Lion Mound. The legend to the Ferraris maps can be found at http://www.cpdt.be/telechargement/recherches/finalisees/subv_04-05/rapport/th4/04-05-th4_annexes.pdf ========================================================================================= Ligny and Ligny en grande were originally designed for WNLB by Marbot, QB and Wavre were created by Mike Fox and Marbot working as a team, my thanks to both of them, for permission to include these great mods. ... Good Luck Davros ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The ReadMes for Maida & the other user created scenarios for the Waterloo map are in the scenario folder.
