The siege of Padua as depicted in Niccolò degli Agostini's Li successi belleci (1521). Note the besieger's use of cannon, handguns ignited by a second man with a heated touche. The forces of the besieged include a group of cavalry who are waiting to defend a breach in the walls, and also soldiers throwing incendiary grenades.
