Sid Meier's Gettysburg Scenarios This download contains edited scenarios from the now defunct "the Angle" website, plus 3 versions of the 3 days at Gettysburg scenario (26, 83 & 87). Before that, some of these were available from the defunct SMG Alternative site. Very large scenarios seem to work better in native Win9x, perhaps because of the memory constraint built into Win9x. Win9x can only make use of 64MB of memory. Having more than 64MB of memory is of no use. Running SMx on WinXP has been reported as crashing some way into a very large scenario when more reinforcements arrive. It may function better in Win9x compatibility mode but if XP etc does not conform to the 64MB limit, there are likely to be problems. Patch 3 (not the XP patch) is required to play scenarios running for more than 1 day. Scenarios 24, 66, 69 & 81 assume that Jackson's battery has been renumbered as C17 rather than being part of Jenkins' brigade. An OBC.TXT has been included with this change. Extract or copy & paste the scenarios into your Gettysburg folder. Graeme 25 Cavalry Battle V1 by Colin Jones The entire Union cavalry corps vs. the Confederate 1st infantry corps.
