I have taken J-P Treen's Alternative Gettysburg and added built in branching (in the .dlg files) and battle honors. To use the 3 way branching feature of SMG I have edited some of the scenarios to have 2 victory point sites to have the same highest value. There are also modified opening menus. Opening & evening videos have been replaced with empty files. To install: Unzip into the Gettysburg folder with "Use Folder Names" and "Overwrite Existing Files" checked. Say "yes" if asked to overwrite any read only files. Play a branching set of battles by choosing 'play the battle' and 'next scenario' at the end of each. A final victory level & score will be given at the end. The full day scenario, which is not part of the series, is listed as the 1st scenario. There are multiple copies of some scenarios to keep track of the total number of victories/defeats. Some smaller scenarios do not have a battle honor or give a points score as only the standard scenarios that form part of the branch structure have this. A few battles use the standard battle honors from the CD, others have copies of these, and there are some new battle honors. The original altgtty.zip is included which has some short descriptions of the scenarios and the time line. To restore when you have had enough Alternative Gettysburg: delete the flags & video folders; copy the contents of the restore folder into the Gettysburg folder, overwriting files. Optionally copy the files in the 'optional' file into the Gettysburg folder. The new names file adds 'Gettysburg' - this will also allow Gettysburg to be a site in random games. The new OBC renumbers Jackson's Battery so that it is not part of Jenkin's Brigade (which can cause points anomalies). http://warfare.gq/smx/SMG.htm Graeme
