This miniature illustrates a siege in which Nebuchadnezzar captured Jerusalem. Jeremiah sits outside lamenting. (4 Kings 25:1–7).

Folio 207r Jerusalem. Seven warriors on the walls and towers - two in, arched openings by the gate. They shoot arrows, throw stones, etc. A seated figure outside on the right may represent Jeremiah.
