The Swiss pikemen in the middle with dismounted archers on the far side of them holding the flank towards the river Taro. At the bottom of the image you have the struggle between the Stradiots (Balkan Cavalry) and the armed French servants of the baggage train together with some infantrymen.
The French and the Italians are shown using swords with different styles of hilts while the Swiss have yet another style of sword. The French and Italian men-at-arms wear different styles of coats over their armour. The Swiss skirmishers are armed with arquebus.
