This 2nd picture shows a sergeant of the fusiliers of this regiment. His grade is indicated by the epaulet on his right shoulder, the facing colour. He wears a bicorne hat of the pre-war style, and regulation gaiters over his shoes. At his side he has the infantry bayonet and sabre.
