Lt. Colonel, King's Regiment, in campaign uniform. His grade is denoted by the two silver epaulettes, one on each shoulder and two gold braids on the cuff. The emblem on his collar is a lion rampant; at that time the common hallmark of all the cavalry regiments of the line. Note the short cut hussar boots and a straight sword. Cavalry trooper of the Prince's Regiment. Note that lapels, collar and cuffs are of the facing colours of their regiment, and therefore different from the previous figure.
